PhillyCarShare is a non-profit organization that provides members with access to a fleet of vehicles on an hourly basis. It is our mission to maximize the economic, environmental, and social benefits of reduced automobile dependence in the Philadelphia region through community-based car sharing. In addition to our core values, we are also concerned with the carbon footprint that our office and our employees represent. We embrace the values and programs of a sustainable business practice and are committed to working and encouraging others to be more sustainable in our business and personal lives. Since our inception in 2002, PhillyCarShare has taken an estimated 20,000 cars off Philadelphia streets and 50% of our members have increased their use of public transit, walking and biking.
