Ballard Spahr’s environmental lawyers know firsthand the issues surrounding stewardship. We are a longtime standout in climate change law and one of the first firms in the country to have LEED AP-certified lawyers. The experience of our practitioners helps inform our actions as an employer. We helped pilot the Law Office Climate Challenge program, initiated in March 2007 by the EPA and American Bar Association, and employees in our 12 offices live the principles of sustainability, from recycling waste and reusing resources to reducing energy consumption. But we must do more. As a charter member of the Greater Philadelphia Green Business Program, Ballard Spahr has been asked to raise the bar on its stewardship goals. We accept the challenge.
