W.S. Cumby is committed to the promotion and implementation of Sustainable Building practices. W.S. Cumby is an active member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as well as a founding member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC). The company strives to be an educational resource on sustainable design and construction strategies. W.S. Cumby has facilitated over 150 AIA Accredited Continuing Education Seminars on the Green Building process and is involved in providing Green Advantage Certification training. W.S. Cumby has developed the expertise to benefit clients by providing project teams trained to help lead the Green Building process. All members of the Project Management, Estimating, Field and Business Development staff are either certified by the USGBC as LEED Accredited Professionals or Green Advantage Certified Professionals. Through in-house training, personnel are qualified to successfully meet the unique demands of LEED and green projects. The company is proud to have completed the first two LEED certified projects in the Greater Philadelphia area and are currently involved in numerous LEED registered as well as non-LEED green projects. Through the lessons learned from this experience, W.S. Cumby has developed proven workable strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
